Functions:This position will support the mid-term planning of
production and distribution at a weekly and daily level. They will
do this by utilizing our SAP system to focus on weeks 4 to 8 plan
vs capacity. The Production Planner will take the final confirmed
demand plan and check feasibility, as well as finalize a
procurement and production plan.The successful candidate will also
be responsible for maintaining relevant master data in SAP to
ensure data accuracy, as well as developing tools to effectively
communicate information as required.Production Planner
Responsibilities:* Ensures a balance between supply and demand*
Automates and optimises the planning process* Formulates term plans
(4-8-week outlook) to ensure stock availability* Collaborate with
all team members to share knowledge and participate in team related
activities* Promote change in a positive manner* Participates in
key projects when requested* Assist with the identification of
requirements, issues, critical success factors, and progress.*
Collect and maintain key master data for planning - lead-times,
batch sizes, resources, calendars, and run rate determination*
Alignment of OTIF factors with Supply and Transportation Planners
during daily huddles* Create standard operating procedures and
adhere to a maintenance schedule of these procedures* Prepare daily
reports and updates as and when requiredSelf-Management* Keen sense
of business and maintains meticulous transaction records.* Comply
with the Health, Safety and Environmental PoliciesWhat You'll Need
To Be Successful And Safe* Strong knowledge of business
administration, scheduling, and procurement* Strong organization
and documentation skills.* Able to manage time effectively,
prioritize tasks and achieve set targets* Familiarity with an
integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system beneficial,
SAP preferred* Understands MRP process* Knowledge of requirements
and safety stock planning* Advanced analytical, planning, and
problem-solving abilities.* Inquisitive nature that enjoys
problem-solving and identifying business improvements.* Ability and
willingness to grow and develop beyond current position.* Excellent
verbal and written communication skills to build strong
interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.Kerry
