Description

The Quality Data Analyst works closely with other administrative leaders to fulfill the mission of the organization, ensure compliance with Federally Qualified Health Center program requirements, and successful fulfillment of the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. The Quality Data Analyst supports the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient care delivery through optimization of the electronic health record documentation of service delivery and related reporting functionality. This position serves as the primary contact person responsible for reporting HCHC clinical and operational data to outside entities such as NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance), CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services), BPHC (Bureau of Primary Health Care), HRSA (Health Resources Services Administration), VDH (Virginia Department of Health) and others for the purposes of meeting compliance requirements and monitoring outcomes. This position supports implementation of the Quality Assurance and Improvement Plan; and promotes the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care delivery. The Quality Data Analyst collaborates with clinical leadership to manage HCHC Value Based Contracts and related data reporting requirements to support increased revenue from payers. This position is authorized to work in any HCHC location recognized as within the scope of project by HRSA. Flexible hybrid schedule with majority remote work is possible. Decisions related to work location shall be made by the immediate supervisor and in conjunction with organizational needs.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, math/statistics, IT or other related fields.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience required; 3 years or more of experience preferred.
  Key skills required for success in this position include: Proficiency with data visualization tools, knowledge of data management applications, proficiency in managing electronic health records, an analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience demonstrating creative problem solving and the ability to work under tight deadlines will be helpful.
