This is your chance to join our team - help us to design the infrastructure and buildings that improve the world!We are currently seeking Interns to work with the Environmental team in our Richmond, VA office.Responsibilities will include providing assistance with the following **

• State and federal environmental documentation (including NEPA preparation)
• Socioeconomic analysis (including environmental justice)
• Wetland delineations
• Stream assessments
• Threatened and endangered species habitat evaluations and surveys
• Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permitting
• Periodic travel (including overnight) may be required when assisting with ---eld work, as needed.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or similar field (Bachelor of Science preferred).
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time accordingly.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn more while working on these challenges.
  • Willingness to work in challenging outdoor environments, including high temperatures and steep terrain.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with ESRI ArcGIS software preferred.Required **
