Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year! Truck Enterprises, Inc. along with Kenworth Sales Co., a 32-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Frame & Alignment Professional to join our Harrisonburg, VA team.


JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Frame & Alignment Professional is to perform any required frame and chassis repairs to trucks. This includes frame straightening and repair, suspension work, front and rear-end alignment, and replacement of chassis-related parts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Operates and maintains all frame and alignment equipment
Inspects frame for severity of damage
Removes any necessary parts
Uses frame-straightening beam to make repairs
Re-checks alignment using plum-bob
Reassembles truck
Makes repairs on steering components and all suspension components
Makes any necessary alignment repairs, replacing appropriate parts
Verifies alignment is correct
Repairs or replaces airbags, bushings, etc., in order to complete overhaul of suspension as needed
Maintains a clean work area and discards used parts
Discards hazardous material in proper place





QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum three years of experience with frame and chassis repairs
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
Professional personal appearance
Computer and technology proficient
Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Excellent organization, communication, and managerial skills
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information
High school diploma or the equivalent
