Bring your skills to the 2020 Kenworth Dealer of the Year! Truck Enterprises, Inc. along with Kenworth Sales Co., a 32-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group, is looking for a Frame & Alignment Professional to join our Harrisonburg, VA team.


JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Frame & Alignment Professional is to perform any required frame and chassis repairs to trucks. This includes frame straightening and repair, suspension work, front and rear-end alignment, and replacement of chassis-related parts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  
• Operates and maintains all frame and alignment equipment
  
• Inspects frame for severity of damage
  
• Removes any necessary parts
  
• Uses frame-straightening beam to make repairs
  
• Re-checks alignment using plum-bob
  
• Reassembles truck
  
• Makes repairs on steering components and all suspension components
  
• Makes any necessary alignment repairs, replacing appropriate parts
  
• Verifies alignment is correct
  
• Repairs or replaces airbags, bushings, etc., in order to complete overhaul of suspension as needed
  
• Maintains a clean work area and discards used parts
  
• Discards hazardous material in proper place

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    
    
  • Minimum three years of experience with frame and chassis repairs
    
  • Good mechanical aptitude
    
  • Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
    
  • Professional personal appearance
    
  • Computer and technology proficient
    
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record
    
  • Excellent organization, communication, and managerial skills
    
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information
    
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
