  The Harrisonburg Fire Department includes two deputy fire chief positions (Operations and Support Services) and is seeking to fill the Deputy Fire Chief of Operations with a dynamic, forward-thinking, experienced professional. This is an exempt, full-time position with benefits and a preferred starting salary range of $87,713 - $100,880 annually, with additional stipend(s) available depending upon qualifications.
  
  The candidate selected for this position will serve as a leader within the department and report directly to the Fire Chief. As the Deputy Fire Chief of Operations, you'll be responsible for planning, supervising, directing, and coordinating operations of the department, including assisting with the general planning and administration of fire services. In this role, you'll oversee Fire and Rescue Operations, Specialized Operations (Hazardous Materials and Technical Rescue), and Emergency Medical Services. -
