Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. is seeking to hire:Health Data AuditorPart Time; Days (20 hours per week)Education: Associates Degree in: Statistics or Health Information Mgmt or Computer Science or Business Administration. Bachelor's degree is preferredExperience: 1 year of experience in Data Analysis. Must possess demonstrated knowledge in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.Job Summary:Design, produce and analyze reports to provide information to support medical management decisions and to be used as tools for monitoring quality and utilization of health management; prepare analyses which identify medical utilization and cost problems; develop effective means to organize and present data which promotes a better understanding and utilization of the vast amount of system data available. Conduct ongoing record reviews in conjunction with accreditation and regulatory agencies record documentation requirements and physician documentation improvement initiatives.Associates degree in Business Admin, HIM, Computer Science or Statistics required. Bachelor's degree preferred. LPN or RHIT preferred. Possess demonstrated knowledge in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.Sentara RMH Medical Center, a Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg VA, serves a seven-county area with a population of 218,000 residents. The 238-bed community hospital partnered with the Sentara Healthcare system in May of 2011.
