Lecturer of Business AnalyticsThe Department of Computer
Information Systems and Business Analytics (CIS & BSAN) in the
College of Business at James Madison University (JMU) invites
applications for a renewable term appointment with the rank of
Lecturer. The appointment begins in the Fall 2021 semester.Duties &
Responsibilities:The successful candidate will join a dedicated
team of CIS & BSAN faculty providing instruction in the core
business curriculum. Candidates will be expected to teach business
statistics at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to
candidates who are also capable of teaching either operations
management or management science. Normal course load is 4 courses
per semester. Summer teaching opportunities with additional pay may
be available but are not guaranteed.Qualifications:--- -Master's
degree in statistics, operations management, management science, or
in a closely related discipline--- -Teaching experience in a
quantitative discipline--- -Evidence of professional engagement in
accordance with AACSB standards--- -In addition to teaching, this
position requires general service to the institution and the
ability to maintain professional qualifications.James Madison
