Ryder, a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver with a Class A CDL for regional routes. Our drivers are crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain solutions, supporting a broad range of industries. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing timely deliveries and maintaining safety standards, ensuring Ryder's commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle over assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, reporting any concerns. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately. Handle paperwork related to each load and collect signatures from customers as necessary. Maintain constant communication with logistics managers regarding route progress. Strong driving skills and comfort with navigating regional routes Good physical condition and stamina necessary for long periods behind the wheel Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems Ability to handle and secure sensitive and valuable cargo with attention Excellent time management to meet pick-up and delivery schedules Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record DOT medical card
