Job Title: .NET Technical Lead Location: Reston, VA – Hybrid

Responsibilities Participate in the design of software tools and
subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis. Assist
Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret
software requirements and design specifications to code and
integrate and test software components. Leading and mentoring a
team of software engineers, ensuring high performance and career
growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define
technical strategies and solutions aligned with project goals.
Architecting, developing, and enhancing enterprise microservice
applications and modernizing legacy systems. Ensuring adherence to
software development best practices, including code quality,
security, and performance optimization. Driving automation and
DevOps best practices by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and leveraging
modern tools and frameworks. Conducting code reviews, application
and security code scans, and supporting remediation efforts.
Championing Agile principles by participating in daily stand-ups,
sprint planning, and retrospectives. Creating comprehensive
technical documentation and providing input for project proposals
and requirements analysis. Staying abreast of emerging technologies
and driving innovation within the team and organization. Required
Skills/Qualifications 8 experience in software development using C,
C#, and the .NET framework, with a strong grasp of object-oriented
programming and enterprise-scale solutions. Proven ability to
architect, develop, and maintain applications leveraging Oracle 19C
databases, including advanced PL/SQL programming and performance
tuning. Ability to lead applications built utilizing frameworks and
programming languages such as Java 11 & 17, Spring, Hibernate,
Angular 2, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js. Experience with cloud
platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Experience in designing and generating
Crystal Reports for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics
solutions. Strong proficiency in integrating and optimizing systems
composed of diverse technologies, ensuring reliability,
scalability, and maintainability across the codebase. Experience
coordinating teams to deliver projects involving complex technology
stacks and facilitating collaboration between cross-functional
stakeholders. Ability to mentor engineers in best practices for C,
C#, .NET, Java, Angular, Oracle, PL/SQL, and reporting tools,
fostering continuous learning and technical growth. Expertise in
troubleshooting, debugging, and remediating issues across multiple
platforms and languages, ensuring system stability and performance.
In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, CI/CD
pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile project management
principles. Demonstrated expertise in Service-Oriented
Architectures (SOA), including RESTful services and Web API
frameworks. Strong experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g.,
XUnit, NUnit, Selenium) and DevOps practices, including Git-based
workflows Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to obtain
necessary security clearances. Education: Bachelor’s degree in
computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; an
advanced degree is a plus.
