Job Description:
The SMIT Marine Corps & OCONUS (MC&O) team is seeking a
Business Systems & AI Solutions Intern to support automation and
process improvement as part of the US Navy SMIT MC&O Team. This
intern will work directly with MC&O leadership and
cross-functional teams to enhance and integrate internal tools,
streamline workflows, and leverage AI to automate manual processes
where applicable. Primary Responsibilities Enhance and integrate
reporting tools, automation and AI Maintain and enhance internally
developed tools Develop or support tools that analyze data to
identify similar or analogous tasks Conduct targeted research on
technical services to support automation Basic Qualifications
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field Strong
Excel skills, including advanced formulas and macros Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task,
self-assign work, and operate in a fast-paced environment Strong
written and verbal communication skills Candidates must be US
citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense
Secret security clearance as a condition of employment Preferred
Qualifications Experience with JavaScript, Visual Basic/VBA, and/or
Python Experience applying AI or generative AI tools to business or
analytical problems Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI,
SharePoint, or similar platforms Experience working with automation
tools, data repositories, or legacy systems Ability to remain
upbeat, positive, and constructive under high-pressure deadlines If

Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00 The Leidos pay range for this job
level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of
compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending
an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the
job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as
well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable
bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
