high-potential Senior SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant with
experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA Finance (FI), Sales and
Distribution (SD), and Funds Management (FM) modules. The
successful candidate will work closely with our clients by leading
workshops, understanding requirements, designing and presenting
solutions, configuring SAP, and completing full software lifecycle
implementations associated with accounts receivables in the Bill to
Collect (B2C) and Reimbursable Management (RM) business process
areas within the federal government. The primary focus will be on
design, configuration, and testing in SAP S/4HANA Public Sector,
with the experience and/or desire to grow and mentor an agile team
focused on B2C and RM within the SD, FI, and FM modules. This role
requires experience with SAP Federal Financial Accounting processes
and solutions. This position is located in one of CGI Federal's
offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville,
TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be
required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Your
future duties and responsibilities: • The Senior Consultant
facilitates the implementation of requirements, designs solutions,
and configures SAP FI, SD, and FM for the Public Sector to enhance
client business functionality and overall performance while
maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. • Facilitate
workshops to review business requirements and translate them into
system requirements, identifying gaps, issues, and workarounds
across financial management, procurement, and asset management
functions. • Act as a liaison with the client for troubleshooting:
investigate, analyze, and resolve software issues; map client
business requirements, processes, and objectives; and develop
necessary product modifications to meet client needs. • Perform
design, configuration, and testing of FI, SD, and FM modules in SAP
S/4HANA to support teams dedicated to B2C and RM. • Create
Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support the creation of
Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and To-Be process designs for SAP
S/4HANA solutions. • Be responsible for the successful
implementation of SAP S/4HANA, providing functional expertise,
guidance, presentations, and instruction on SAP products to
clients. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: •
Due to the nature of contract requirements, US citizenship and
successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior
to the start of work. Candidates must also have the ability to
obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance. • A minimum
of 3–5 years of SAP consulting experience and accounts receivable
experience in SD. • Knowledge of financial management best
practices, including demos, test scripts, and functional/technical
design documents. • Experience in configuration and implementation
of FI, SD, and FM. • Knowledge of key integration points between
SAP modules. • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork,
facilitation, and negotiation. • Strong written and verbal
communication and presentation skills; ability to present and
discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that
establishes rapport, persuades others, and is understandable to
both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to analyze
problems and provide clear recommendations. • Strong organizational
skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,
Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Desired
qualifications: • Experience using SAP Activate methodology. •
Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations. • Certification in
SAP S/4HANA. • Experience integrating with SAP application areas
such as Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), Project Systems
(PS), and Funds Management (FM). CGI is required by law in some
jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation
range for this role. The determination of this range includes
various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience,
relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the
ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does
not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their
role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current
range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00. CGI
