Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: Serve as an
Agile Scrum team member providing software implementation, testing
and maintenance for the delivery of releasable software in sprint
cycles. Responsible for activities associated with delivery of
software solutions associated with customer-defined systems and
software projects by working in close collaboration with software
developers/engineers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile
processes. Responsibilities: · Testing and implementing custom of
the shelf software · Troubleshooting and fixing active directory,
server and database performance issues · Fixing security
vulnerabilities related to server and databases · Create data
reports with SQL Server and Oracle · Production support for
outages. · SQL Query performance tuning · Extract, Transform and
load data using scripts / ETL software · Active participation in
release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing,
regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives and solution
releases · Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work,
providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet
objectives, and providing periodic performance reports · Developing
new and refining existing process to enhance quality and
productivity · Proficient in taking backups and restoring database
when needed. As well as grant or revoke database permissions when
needed Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to
pass CBP background investigation, criteria will include: o 3-year
check for felony convictions o 1-year check for illegal drug use o
1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud • College degree
(B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information
Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional
experience will be considered in lieu of degree • Professional
Experience: at least seven (7) years related Database and system
administration experience. Proficient with Windows servers
administration Experience with relational databases (e.g.,
PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) Familiarity with cloud platforms
(e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker,
Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities. Desired:
Experience with Data streaming from Oracle to PostgreSQL • Ability
to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and
contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas •
Direct experience providing production support for PostgreSQL and
Oracle database • Programming background in Java, Python •
Technical Certifications, such as OCP or AWS certification •
Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle Database Development
including Stored Procedures, Constraints, Joins, Keys, Indexes,
Triggers and Data Import/Export. • Experience using Data streaming
technologies like AWS DMS, or Kafka • AWS Cloud Database (RDS)
experience, especially PostgreSQL and Oracle • Knowledge of
large-scale data migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL • Working
experience with advanced procedures/functions concepts and features
such as Analytic Functions and Hierarchical Queries with Oracle and
PostgreSQL • Experience with database tools like TOAD, SQL
Developer and PGadmin • Experience in Creating and Maintaining
Database objects like Tables, Indexes, Views, Synonyms, Object
types and Collections • Experience with database design and stored
SQL procedures • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic
location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract
wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and
