Details
- Capital One Developer Academy (CODA) is a 6-month full-stack
training program and new hires for this role start as a cohort in
February 2023 or August 2023
- This role is a paid full-time associate position that engages
those from analytical non-Computer Science backgrounds hoping to
launch a career in Software Engineering
- Upon successful completion of the 6 month CODA program, CODA
graduates enter the 18 month SWE rotational program, Technology
Development Program (TDP)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor
a new applicant for employment authorization for this
position.Basic Qualifications
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors
or higher in a non-computer science major with an expectation that
the degree will be obtained by August 2023 or earlierPreferred
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career as a software
engineer through activities such as: hackathons, personal technical
projects, tech training platforms, elected coursework, or other
relevant engagement in software engineering field
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and
conceptual skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication

CODA Associate.What we offer:Capital One Developer Academy (CODA)
is a unique, intensive six-month training program that prepares
individuals from analytical and non-Computer Science backgrounds
for a Software Engineering career at Capital One. It's a program
that equips you for the future and helps you build your career in
tech. As a CODA Associate, you'll spend six months learning to code
from skilled Capital One Software Engineers who will mentor you
throughout the program. Upon successful completion of the program,
Associates will then join our Technology Development Program (TDP),
an 18 month rotational program for full-time software
engineers.Candidates majoring in computer science are encouraged
and eligible to apply to instead of CODA.What you'll gain:The CODA
