will compile and analyze payroll data and statistics to maintain
records for the calculation of payroll.KEY
ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
- Oversee and audit regular payroll processing activities
- Support all US locations on payroll issues and ADP
questions
- Complete month-end reporting and reconciliations
- Assist with year-end payroll processing and review
- Act as liaison to Associates with regards to escalated payroll
inquiries
- Assist with payroll training and documentation
- Assist with HR projects when required
- Provide quality customer service using established guidelines
and tools
- Identifies, understands and escalates problems as they arise,
seeking support as necessary
- Ensures regulatory compliance
- Maintains accurate record of transactions in Zendesk
database.
- Provide back up support for Canadian payroll
processingKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree and 2 years of Payroll/Accounting experience
preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years experience with payroll systems and administration
preferred.
- Experience with ADP and knowledge of ADP Reporting and related
HRIS systems preferred
- Proficient (intermediate level) in Excel, Word, with knowledge
of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with proven time management skills and ability to
prioritize in a high volume position
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting principles (e.g.
debits/credits) as they relate to payroll
- Willingness to flex hours as needed, based on volume of work
