Job Description:
The Washington Commanders are looking for seasonal team members
to support our Marketing and Operations Department during the 2026
Training Camp. This position will span approximately 4-5 weeks from
late July to end of August in Ashburn, VA. This position is
intended for local college students and recent graduates seeking a
summertime position in the sports industry. We are looking for
coachable, self-motivated individuals with a passion to learn more
about the planning and execution of NFL fan events. The position is
hands-on. Team members will actively contribute to the daily
execution of fan facing portions of Training Camp. Responsibilities
Assist with the operations, hospitality, sponsorship, and
entertainment aspects of Training Camp Set up and break down
operational equipment and entertainment elements as needed leading
up to, during, and after Training Camp Monitor assigned area(s)
during open practice days. This may include fan and vendor
interactions within hospitality areas, VIP check-in, activation
areas, and autograph sessions Communicate with management staff
when any questions or concerns arise Work with a team to deliver
helpful, friendly, and professional customer service to enhance the
fan experience Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or within
1-year post-grad Previous experience in sport marketing or customer
service preferredbut not required Must be available to work
throughout the entire duration of Training Camp Must have reliable
transportation to and from the Commanders Facility in Ashburn, VA
Must take initiative, be able to adapt to a variety of situations,
and work as a part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure
environment Positive enthusiasm, friendly demeanor, professionalism
and ability to work with adults and children is necessary Ability
to stand/walk for long periods of time in varying weather
conditions, climb up and down stairs, and lift heavy objects (at
least 30 lbs.) Flexible work schedule to include early mornings,
evenings and weekends Training Camp is a month of non-continuous
days. Interns will only be required to work to open practice days
