The Opportunity -Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for seasonal Wranglers to join our team at Skyland Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Wrangler, you will support the team at Skyland lodging in planning and coordinating activities for our guests.Pay$14.00 - $14.00 / hour

    • Organize horseback riding and other recreation activities for guests
    • Lead hour long trail rides up to six times each shift
    • Provide directions to local attractions within the National Park and attend to any queries guests may have about their planned horseback riding journey
    • Groom, feed, -tack, and care for horses
    • Maintain the proper sanitation and safety procedures in the working environmentQualifications -
      • No high school diploma or GED required
      • Proficiency in riding, grooming, feeding, and handling horses required
      • Previous customer service experience required
      • Previous cash handling and point-of-sale experience required
      • Must possess a valid driver's license
      • Ability to work weekends and holidaysPhysical Requirements -
        • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
        • Ability to stand for entire length of shift
        • Ability to work outside for most of shift in all weather conditionsShift Details -Holidays
