This and other physician jobs brought to you by DocCafe.com An established hospital in Virginia is planning to hire an additional family medicine or internal medicine physician. The facility needs assistance because a current physician is retiring. The incoming primary care physician will see 20 patients per day on average. Eighty percent of the patient base is geriatric. The schedule options are flexible: you have the option to work three twelve-hour days or four ten-hour days each week. The call is a light 1:8 rotation. You will be supported by an LPN and other physicians. The facility is accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible in internal medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine and pediatrics. A VA license is required to start this position, and CompHealth can assist you with the processing and application.
