Responsibilities As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include: - Must have experience and be comfortable working as charge nurse - Ability to assess, plan, implement, & evaluate patient care utilizing knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric disorders, AND physical, psychological, & social needs of the psychiatric adolescent - Walking and/or standing for up to eight (8) hours or more. Bending & lifting. Ability to us TOVA techniques. - May be exposed to aggressive patients.
