Candidates should have experience with high-acuity patients requiring skilled assessment and intervention. Responsibilities include management of critical care situations for various emergencies including trauma, burns, and medical conditions. The emergency room sees over 80,000 patient visits annually. Care will be provided to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover. Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role. All required certifications must be current and valid prior to starting employment. Full compliance with health and safety regulations is expected. Additional training modules may be assigned to enhance skills specific to the unit's needs.
