Description: Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! Full-time position available with complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with company match, and more. Assist and oversee the daily operations of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Services department to ensure the highest level of rehabilitation services are provided and maintained, when Rehab Manger/Outpatient Therapy Administrator is not on campus for Inpatient. Assist with supervising and working alongside inpatient rehabilitation therapists to ensure the department operates effectively, that patient needs are being satisfied and that required activities are being conducted for inpatient therapy. Requirements: - Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. - Must possess a current certification from NBCOT - Active state license required. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures, clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines. - Ability to supervise COTAs and OT techs. - Degree in relevant rehabilitation discipline - Relevant state licensure - Pass background checks, including applicable state requirements - Ability to participate in federally-funded government programs such as Medicare and/or Medicaid - Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing - Previous management experience or significant direct care experience Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg is committed to best practices for infection control; therefore, we will require all team members to receive the influenza and highly recommend the Covid-19 vaccine.
