As an Optometrist with The Delta Companies, you will provide essential vision services through comprehensive eye exams and diagnose a range of eye conditions. Your expertise will help expand our capabilities in serving communities with top-tier eye care services. Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess patients' ocular health and visual acuity. Identify and diagnose eye diseases and visual disorders; recommend therapeutic or corrective measures. Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids, and offer guidance on eye care and preventative measures. Maintain accurate medical files for each patient, including histories, exams results, and treatments. Collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Stay current with developments in optometry and medical management through continuous education. Proficiency in using ophthalmic equipment and tools for eye examination. Strong analytical skills to accurately diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient education and collaboration with the team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state license to practice optometry. Board certification by the American Board of Optometry is preferred.
