Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to oversee our respiratory therapy department. As a national leader in integrated healthcare services, we provide a range of facility-based and home-based care in 42 states. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our team of respiratory therapists and ensuring the highest quality of care for patients with respiratory conditions. This position requires a professional who is skilled in leadership and passionate about patient care, with a deep understanding of respiratory treatment modalities and patient management. Supervise a team of respiratory therapists and provide guidance on proper care procedures. Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with current standards. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment plans. Maintain departmental records and reports on respiratory care activities. Expertise in respiratory therapy techniques and patient care Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to design and implement clinical protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid and active Respiratory Therapist license Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required BLS/ACLS certification
