Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lynchburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,975 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical - Surgical (Renal) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active Compact License required upon start Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Prior travel experience is required - Charge responsibility may be required, and training will be provided - Teaching hospital experience preferred Description: The position requires an RN to work in a medical-surgical environment focused on renal care. The RN will be expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires. Weekends may be required based on unit needs, with the expectation of fulfilling 2 to 3 weekends per month. Flexible scheduling is essential, and requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Candidates should also be prepared for potential cancellations due to census. Charge experience is preferred as the RN may assume charge responsibilities during their assignment. All applicants must be prepared to explain any gaps in employment exceeding 90 days.
