Job Description Job Description Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit Shifts Available: Day and Night Shifts We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry to join our team on a per diem basis . This role involves caring for patients with cardiac and critical monitoring needs in a fast-paced hospital setting . Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders. Recognize changes in cardiac rhythms and patient conditions, initiating appropriate responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to create individualized care plans. Document and maintain accurate patient records and charting. Educate patients and families about ongoing care, discharge planning, and health maintenance. Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout treatment. Qualifications: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of employment. Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry or related units. Proficiency in medical software, cardiac monitoring systems, and patient care technology. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a high-acuity environment .
