Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Lynchburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,977 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology (Non-Certified) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active VA / Compact License required upon start Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in oncology - Travel experience is required - Cerner experience preferred Description: This position involves working as a Med-Surg Oncology RN on night shifts. Responsibilities may include charge duties, which will be compensated with an appropriate pay differential and training. The schedule requires working 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit needs. Travelers may float first depending on the staffing needs. No chemotherapy certification is required. Candidates must provide work history and explanations for gaps in employment exceeding 90 days. All requested time off should be submitted with the application. Active nursing license is required prior to starting the position. Candidates may be subject to cancellation up to 36 hours before their scheduled shifts due to patient census.
