This position will lead obstetrics and neonatal care with an emphasis on intermediate care nursery. We are offering a large sign-on/relocation bonus up to $30,000 What we offer: - Award winning unit recognized for outstanding maternity services - Potential for annual performance bonus - Robust facilities, resources, and support - Opportunities for continued career growth To learn more about the department, visit: Education Bachelors Degree - Nursing (required) OR Master's Degree - Nursing (Preferred) Certification/Licensure Registered Nurse License (Required) Experience - 3 years of acute care experience - 1 year of Nurse Management experience - NICU experience required Duties/Responsibilities - Supervises patient care services staff, ensures excellent patient safety and quality outcomes as well as extraordinary patient/family experience. - Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable team. - Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills to achieve unit and corporate goals. - Assists in the development and monitoring of unit budget, coordinates purchasing and payroll processes and serves as a clinical resource to team members.
