This West Virginia nursing job offers the opportunity to provide high-quality home health care in the scenic Allegheny Mountains, surrounded by a welcoming community and vibrant local culture./n /n/nHome Health RN Job Details/n /n - Job Title: Registered Nurse – Home Health (Travel Contract)/n - Location: Elkins, West Virginia 26241/n - Contract Length: 13 weeks/n - Start Date: December 8, 2025/n - Schedule: Day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts/n - On-Call: 1–2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend per month (rotating among 4 RNs)/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000–$2,050/n - Scrub Color: Navy Blue/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license accepted)/n - Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (home health nursing experience preferred)/n - BLS certification from the American Heart Association/n - Ability to provide 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years/n - Travel nursing experience preferred/n - Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions considered)/n - Must reside more than 100 miles from facility (exceptions for 75–100 miles)/n /n/nHome Health RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult patients in their homes/n - Conduct an average of 6 patient visits per day, managing a diverse caseload/n - Participate in rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 patient support/n - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans/n - Document all patient interactions and care provided according to agency protocols/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes/n - Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques/n /n/n /n Join our healthcare team in Elkins, West Virginia, and make a meaningful impact in home health nursing while enjoying the natural beauty of the region.
