*Job Overview*We are looking for a Dental Hygienist in our *Atlas Walk Dental Center* located at 7502 Iron Bar Lane, Gainesville, Virginia 20155 to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, take x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.*Schedule:* Monday-Friday 8A-5P*Sign On Bonus:* $5,000*Pay:* $58-$63/hour*Appointment Times:* 60 minutes*Duties** Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.* Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures with precision.* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.* Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.* Assist dentists during procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.* Utilize dental software such as Denticon for patient management and record keeping.* Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care.* Ensure all instruments are sterilized and prepared for each appointment.*Requirements** Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.* 2 years experience.* Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.* Experience with dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.* Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential.* Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.* Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.* Previous experience using Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus but not required.Join us in providing exceptional dental care while making a positive impact on our patients' lives!#JEFJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $58.00 - $63.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayWork Location: In personby Jobble
