Medical Director position in Virginia #18-138
Our client, a Community Services Board (CSB) is actively recruiting a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our team as Medical Director. Candidate will need to have leadership experience and experience/comfort treating children and adolescents as well as adults. The Medical Director provides clinical supervision to a team of 4-5 psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Typical work hours are day shift,--Monday-Friday, and the position is largely direct care with 10-15% devoted to supervision and chart review. Day to day administrative duties and scheduling are handled by the Medical Practice Manager.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proved residency training in Psychiatry and a Fellowship in C&A Psychiatry.
