Center 2 (19050), United States of America, McLean, VirginiaSenior Manager, Cyber Security Operations - -Capital One is looking for a Senior Manager of Cyber Security Operations to join our team. This position is not traditional management, and will require front line leadership and collaboration across multiple teams. - You will operate at the tactical and strategic level, engage with stakeholders across the corporation and drive results. - You will be empowered to drive projects that increase the effectiveness and capability of our alerting and monitoring. - You will deliver high-level briefings, create consensus, drive priorities and build relationships.Responsibilities: -

• Develop, maintain, and enforce a centralized strategy for enterprise monitoring (logging & alerting)
• Drive alignment with requirements under official enterprise policies, such as Information Security Standard -
• Request specific services from Cyber to measure enterprise monitoring posture, coverage, maturity level and provide a provide a unified narrative to the enterprise -
• Identify monitoring risks, hurdles, impediments, challenges and escalate to leadership in timely manner
• Maintain alignment with security monitoring regulatory requirements as well as internal and external assessments - -Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity operations -
  • At least 5 years of experience with security and infrastructure technologies (firewall logs, network security tools, malware detonation devices, proxies, IPS, IDS)
  • At least 4 years of experience working with Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems
  • At least 4 years of experience analyzing and identifying network traffic
  • At least 3 years of experience with cyber incident handling and remediation
  • At least 3 years of experience with packet capture analysis
  • At least 3 years of experience analyzing application and network based attacks
  • At least 3 years of experience with people leadership -
  • At least 3 years of experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)Preferred Qualifications:
    • 1+ year of experience with dynamic malware analysis
    • 2+ years of experience configuring security appliances
    • 2+ years of experience developing SIEM alerts and IPS/IDS signatures
    • 5+ years of experience with people leadership
    • 6+ years of experience in Cybersecurity operations -
