Lecturer - Sport & Recreation Management, Hart School
The Hart School of Hospitality, Sport and Recreation Management at James Madison University invites applications for a lecturer in Sport and Recreation Management. The position is a renewable term appointment beginning in the fall 2021. Candidates must be able to be on campus for a start date of mid-August 2021. The position is a full-time position in Harrisonburg, Virginia and is benefits eligible.

Primary responsibilities involve teaching courses in Sport and Recreation Management. This position has a four/four teaching load during the regular academic year and class sizes typically range from 30 to 60 students. Additional teaching opportunities and specific assignments are dependent upon departmental needs.

Required qualifications include a master's degree in Sport Management, Recreation or a related field, industry experience, and prefer evidence of teaching Sport and/or Recreation Management courses on the college level on a full time or part time basis.
