Job Description Serioplast , a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging , is looking for a Technologist for the plants in Mount Jackson, Virginia! Set product recipes ensuring necessary regulations and PLC parameters are in place, make necessary mechanical and electronic adjustments, control production variables to ensure product specifications are met Actively support investigating, troubleshooting and resolving quality issues Ensure process stability during production and acts timely to address any deviation Support the training of the production staff to help them solve minor technical problems affecting the quality of the bottle Carry out the electromechanical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning, driers, leak test, cameras, palletizers, etc.) Find solutions by fabricating mechanical or other parts to address production or technical issues and to improve machine performance Support the Technical team in improvement projects and decisions on machines, equipment, molds and processes What are we looking for? Excellent knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM) Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques Good applied knowledge of WCM standards Minimum 5 years' experience working with industry specific technologies and productive processes What do we offer?
