provide sensor systems expertise across the entire acquisition
lifecycle from concept exploration through sustainment of US Navy
(USN) and US Marine Corps (USMC) radar systemsSystems supported
across B40 and B60 include Dual Band Radar (DBR), Ground Air Task
Oriented Radar (G/ATOR), AN/SPY-1, AN/SPY-6, Enhanced Radar Data
Display System (ERDDS), Enhanced Coherent Data Collection System
(ECDCS0, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), and other sensor
systemsResponsibilities Major Job Activities: Support the
development and execution of systems engineering plans from
requirements identification through design verificationPlan and
execute engineering strategies in accordance with approved project
acquisition strategies and plans: Perform requested aspects of
technical analysis and systems engineering support to facilitate
aspects of architecture design, interoperability, specification
analysis and development, solutions implementation and systems
sustainment of supported projects; Develop test and evaluation
documentation, including laboratory testing plans, new technology
evaluation documents, usability engineering documents and
laboratory testing of SW/MW test articles developed by the product
design agent; Research and develop systems / subsystem
specification documents, including compliance, completeness and
consistency of component and interface requirements with current
and evolving system requirements, information architectures, and
systemsSupport signal processing activities, to include waveform,
clutter management and electronic protection development; designing
electronic compatibility into systems; and supporting data
collection and analysis to determine effectiveness of signal
processing systemsWorking Environment: Duties may be conducted in
government or contractor office or laboratory environments, as well
as field work in direct support of USN / USMC organizationsThis may
include working onboard U.Sand/or foreign naval ships or vessels,
on piers, in dry docks, or other field / non-office environments,
as requiredPhysical Activities: Travel to USN piers, ships and dry
docks as required, as well as between local contractor and
Government locationsQualifications Security Clearance Requirement:
Candidates for these positions must be U.SCitizens with an Active
Secret (or higher) DoD Security ClearanceFor Entry Level roles:

following: A Bachelor's degree from a school of engineering with at
least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for

Experience: General Experience is defined as experience since award
of degree: Principal Level Engineer / Scientist: Minimum twenty

a Master's degree Minimum ten (10) years with a Ph.D degree Senior
Level Engineer / Scientist: Minimum fifteen (15) years with a
Bachelor's degree Minimum twelve (12) years with a Master's degree
Minimum eight (8) years with a Ph.D degree Journeyman Level
Engineer / Scientist: Minimum four (4) years with a Bachelor's
degree Minimum two (2) years with a Master's degree Entry Level
