General Information The Department of Management in the College of Business at James Madison University (JMU) anticipates hiring a tenure-track assistant professor to begin Fall 2019. Duties and Responsibilities Teaching needs include strategic management with an interest in one or more of the following areas: Consulting, Technology and Innovation Management, Supply Chain, and/or Project Management. Normal teaching load is three 3-credit courses per semester during the regular academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to engage regularly in service to the department, the college, the university, and the profession. Qualifications A Ph.D. in Management or related field from an AACSB-accredited program is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to teach Strategic Management and one of the other course topics listed above, as well as provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and outstanding research potential.
