Job Description:
Genworth Financial, Inc., a leader in providing insurance
solutions for long-term care, mortgage insurance, and annuity
retirement plans, is seeking a proactive and dedicated Manager for
our Claims Customer Service department. This role is pivotal in
leading a team that supports our commitment to securing the
financial futures of our clients by managing and enhancing the
customer claims experience. The ideal candidate will oversee all
aspects of claims processing, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and
high-quality customer service while adhering to industry
regulations and company policies. Manage day-to-day operations of
the claims customer service team. Train and develop staff in claims
processing and customer service skills. Monitor team performance to
ensure that the service level meets the expected standards. Analyze
and report on claims data to improve processes and service
delivery. Handle complex customer complaints and issues
effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other
departments to streamline the claims process and improve customer
satisfaction. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and
organizational policies in all operations. Strong leadership and
team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficient in data analysis and handling claims software.
Ability to manage customer relationships and resolve conflicts.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of
the insurance industry's legal standards and protocols. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified in Customer Service Management (CSM) preferred. Relevant
insurance industry certifications considered an asset.
