Senior Manager, Enterprise Business Systems

Job Description:

Duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Managing all aspects of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications support and operations including planning, designing, implementing, supporting and maintaining various functions




    • Managing a staff of -10 full time employees and contractors
    • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of staff and business processes to assist in streamlining tasks and initiating new or revised systems approaches as appropriate




      • Guiding team members on issues encountered in the design and implementation of solutions.




        • Interface with middle- and senior-level end-users to develop business implementation strategies, formulate project plans and addresses specific issues that may arise during an Oracle implementation or as part of ongoing support of Oracle applications in the production environment




          • Effectively communicate up and out to ensure that stakeholders have a complete view of the teams' priority and progress.




            • Lead team members on data analysis and integration of applications




              • Ensure the team follows standards for development tools/platforms/methodology/controls to ensure efficiency, quality and consistency in application development




                • Ensure projects follow specific project plans and timelines; delivers status reports, issues logs and generates appropriate documentation




                  • Ensures that support partner meets all contractual service levels associated with quality estimation and incident resolution




                    • Supervising employees including selecting or recommending selection, training, assigning and evaluating work, counseling, disciplining, and/or termination or recommending termination


                      Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


                      • Extensive technical knowledge of and hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.X.X, business flows and workflow




                        • Expert knowledge of Oracle ERP applications development with an emphasis on workflows, implementations, maintenance, interfaces and other technical functions




                          • Familiarity and technical skills in Oracle Applications 12.1.x and knowledge of Oracle schema structures of Oracle 11g (or higher) E-Business Suite modules




                            • Ability to effectively report on application development resources for projects, maintenance and break fix tasks




                              • Ability to understand the agendas of other functions, groups and business units and to integrate that understanding into the decision making process of the team




                                • Ability to efficiently leverage the different talents, attributes and skills of diverse employees




                                  • Skill in recognizing trends, patterns and events that result in new and innovative opportunities




                                    • Outstanding skills in verbal and written communication, as well as an ability to partner effectively with internal and external teams


                                      Minimum Education, Experience Requirements


                                      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or High School diploma with additional experience)




                                        • 5+ years experience managing an application development




                                          • 8+ years of progressive hands-on experience in application development that includes:




                                            • 5+ years experience in Oracle E-Business Suite overseeing large enterprise application and systems development efforts




                                              • Experience managing multiple development projects concurrently, multiple development managers and a team of application development programmers




                                                • Experience with functional design and configuration with some combination of the following Oracle EBS Financials modules in Release 12 (R12): General Ledger (GL), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA) Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Cash Management




                                                  • Hands-on Oracle EBS R12 solution design, development, implementation and management experience




                                                    • Experience in the development and implementation of SDLC methodologies and best practices




                                                      • Experience reviewing architectural structures, identification of architectural issues and demonstrated ability to perform analysis and make recommendations to improve application development design and architecture




                                                        • Experience architecting enterprise-wide solutions that would be optimal for large scale operations, systems scaling and capacity
