We are now seeking candidates to fill a Senior Auditor position (Location flexible within our footprint, with management approval).
Join our detail-oriented and process driven audit team! The Senior Auditor works with cross-departmental teams to conduct all stages of operational and financial audits at the association. The Senior Auditor is responsible for the planning, design,
coordination, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up activities associated with a given audit, to ensure our cooperatives continues to conduct healthy business while complying with established policy, procedure and regulation.
The Senior Auditor completes all stages of operational and financial audits, including planning, design, coordination, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up activities. Ensures work is performed in accordance with professional standards and guidelines and to ensure overall compliance with AgFirst, FCA, and other regulatory and professional requirements. Assists in/completes initiatives related to department quality assurance and improvement program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business including coursework in internal auditing.
- 5 years of audit or related experience
- Driver's license required.
- Certified Internal Auditor
- (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other equivalent designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit standards.
- Advanced ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to travel overnight for audits, training, and other activities.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
