Control Technicians (TCT) with at least 2,000 flagging hours of
experience to join our team and work with the Traffic Control
Department at our work sites in the Hopewell, VA area. Our Traffic
Control Technicians maintain a safe work zone by ensuring that
traffic stays out of the way of our workers. This involves setting
up and removing temporary cones, signs, variable message boards,
and safety barriers that show traffic where to drive, as well as
holding up signs that tell traffic to either stop or to proceed
slowly. If you enjoy working outdoors and have prior construction
industry experience, we welcome you to apply. Those who have
experience in other industries such as warehouse or landscaping are
also encouraged to apply.The starting pay is $16.00 per hour and
may go up from there based on experience. We offer 100% paid

Career Progression Road MapWhat You'll Do:Support project as
Flagger as needed to create a safe work areaSet-up signs, cones,
etc. around work areas to divert trafficLead job site team and
instruct / monitor and train crew members on safety and job
assignments on occasionComplete daily paperwork accurately and
timelyOperate a 2-way radioWork under the Supervision of the
Project Manager and the TCSCommunicate with contractors and relate
specific customer / job changes and other information to
Supervisor, Project Manager, office staff, or othersProvide the
highest level of customer service to all customersWork efficiently
in a team environment and independently when assignedWhat We Need
from You:Valid drivers license required and be able to complete a
company sponsored Defensive Driver training successfully2000 job
flagging hours and / or one year of Traffic Control experience
strongly preferredHold a current ATSSA TCT Certification or have
the ability to obtain oneAbility to lead a small crew is
preferredMust be able to wear proper safety equipment (work boots 6
inch with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest)Comfortable being
regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment,
and machinery parts, and working around moving traffic, fumes,
airborne particles, and moderate / loud noise levelsAbility to lift
/ move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable
